Kowen Ride 2016 – Day 2 – Tricky Gully

My Husband and I staked out a gully Peter D showed us out on the Western Loop.

Charlie trying out his latest purchase – a cable-cam, which proved to be a learning experience but once up and running provided some great shots (video to come).

The morning started with a rush of riders eager to play and then petered out late morning to where we hardly saw more than one rider per hour. Never the less – I got some cool shots.

At the end of the gully was a steep exit – so the bikes look like they are emerging from no-where.

This photo looks like the bike doesn’t have a front wheel – a trick of the blur combined with emerging from a hole in the ground.IMG_4932

Weaving in and out of the trees, through the narrow gully and the mud.
